I was planning to hit some long neglected tasks this morning when I was surprised by another Wormser essay popping in to my mail box. I hope Baron has the energy to keep writing and sending these—his signature clarity of thought and memory is, I suspect for many of us, a steady candle in the shadows of today’s politics and environmental collapse.

The forces for control now so much stronger and lethal. Where are the people on the streets now? Where are the songs, the songwriters? Where is the love manifest?
